A lot of you might think that the title of this post is bullshit but guess what? It is completely true, if you follow this strategy you WILL get to the top of google, it is impossible to fail with it but some sites might take months or even years depending on the level of competition you are facing, however if you have followed my guide so far then you will have the exact domain match, which means that you have an advantage over the majority of your competition.
So follow this guide and stick with it (no matter how dull it gets and even if it seems like you’re getting nowhere. I have had site suddenly jump from the mid 60s straight to the first page overnight, so it may seem like nothing is happening then google will stumble upon a nugget of your links and BOOM, first page yo!
First off, this strategy is based on Joseph Archibalds 40 day challenge (affiliate link) which got something like 1500 posts over at the warrior forum, it really is the best way to build links, I have played around with it and changed it a little to suit my own needs and you should too. But credit for the initial idea goes to Joseph. You cn go over to the warrior forum and check it out for free or just buy his book that has the good content rather than digging through the bajillions of posts to find the value.
So without further ado here’s what I do:
The 4 parts in the anchor layer link directly to your niche site with the anchor text that matches your target keyword. This layer consists of 4 different parts:
1) Blog Blueprint (affiliate link) – This is pretty much the only seo tool that I use, it basicaaly does 2 things, it allows you to put in 100 word articles that only need to be 30% unique, then posts them to PR3 blogs or higher, these are really high quality backlinks that get indexed almost immediately. It also provides a mass article submission, you input an article that you need to spin 3 times, it then submit that to over 500 article submission sites, they are usually low quality sites but sometimes it hits a jackpot and you get a high PR, my highest was a PR6 site but there is no way to guarantee which sites you will get.
2) Web 2.0 – These are sites such as Squidoo and hubpages, there are literally thousands of these site and a quick “web 2.0” search on google will give you them. Try to target the highest PR ones and post a link to your homepage and another to an inner page.
3) New Blogs – Again these are free blogs that you host your content for free, look for sites like wordpress and live journal. I will give you a better list later on in this article.
4) Article Directories – These are things like ezine, they have high PR but are a little more picky about which content they accept, it has to be 70% unique to get on here, this is usually where I write my original content that I will spin later. Check out my last article for a list of these.
The indirect layer is handled completely by Article blueprint which comes as part of Blog Blueprint (affiliate link).
You want the indirect layer to link to your direct layer because sending too many links too quickly straight to your niche site will be seen as an “event” by google, google sees events as bad and will penalise you for them. Sending links to your direct layer still gets you the same amount of link power as it all flows to the end point (which is your niche site), it may take a little longer but it will trickle down in the end.
So here’s how it goes, the first stage in any link you build is to create some content, so write yourself an article 400- 500 words, using your keywords 1 time for every 100 words. Post this content to your niche site and then again to ezine (ezine will let you post the same as you do on your site, as long as it is not posted anywhere else).
Once you have submitted it to ezine, you basically wait until it has been accepted, this can take about a week if you’re a new member. Once it has been accepted you can then spin it.
I use content professor (affiliate link) because it’s web based and you don’t need to download any programs, it allows me to spin articles wherever I am as long as there is a computer with an internet connection. There is a free version that allows you to create 20 spun articles from your 1 original but the pro version allows 100 and to a better quality. I always use the maximum so I can submit hundreds to Blog Blueprint (affiliate link). Open the spun articles and clean them up a bit (spinning does not create perfect articles so you will need to go through and fix some of the words, this usually takes about 5 minutes per article). Then once they look good submit them to:
• Ezinearticles (PR 6)
• Buzzle (PR 5)
• Articlesbase (PR 6)
• Article Dashboard (PR 5)
• Article Blast (PR 5)
• iSnare (PR 5)
• Articlecity (PR 5)
• Sooper Articles (PR 5)
Next up we are going to create some web 2.0’s each will contain 2 links to your site, 1 to the homepage and another to an inner page of your site.
There are thousands of these but I only use:
• Squidoo
• Hubpages
They are free to set up and give you some really good backlinks, however they do take some time to set up (check out my guide to squidoo for the quickest way to do this).
Next up is the new blogs, create accounts and submit to these sites:
• WordPress
• Tumblr
• Live Journal
• Blogger
• Typepad
• Posterous
The cool thing about posterous is that you an set it up to link to all of the other new blog sites as well as facebook and twitter, this means that you submit article and get 12 (or more) backlinks. Cool right?
With content professor (affiliate link) I just use 100 word chunks from my 100 spun articles I downloaded, it is best to only use 100 or so words as too many more and you get pushed off of the first page as soon as another article is posted. It will only submit 20 posts per day so you can put in hundreds if you can be bothered and it will create 20 high PR links every day.
Article Blueprint lets you input any number of resource boxes so all you need to do here is submit 3 copies of your spun article and then put a link to each of your anchor layer articles in the resource boxes, this will give them some all important link juice and help rank your site in google.
That’s about it, you can add extra links by checking out my last article on traffic and doing some of the tactics in that.
From here on in, all I do is repeat this process every week for the first 2 months. This gives you a ton of links and you should be getting some decent traffic by then, maybe even generating some revenue. From here I just build a couple of links every month, keep it up until you are captain of the google ship and making ££££££££££££.
How are you guys doing using this system? What other methods are you using?
